The Three T’s Time-The most important thing you can give is your time. Volunteers are very important to the success of The Salvation Army. Without the help of volunteers The Salvation Army would not be able to help all those in need. Treasure- The Salvation Army is a nonprofit organization that works from the money and items donated to them. Everything given to the Hastings Salvation Army stays in our area to help local families in need Items you can donate are:
Talent- Donating a talent is a great way to help your local Salvation Army. You can help by anything driving those who don’t have vehicles to appointments, to helping a family who experienced a fire with clean up
Angel Tree The Angle tree gives those in the local area a chance to help provide goods for those in need. Trees are placed throughout the city with items listed on paper angels. Items donated during the holiday season help provide goods throughout the year. The Salvation Army relies on the help given by the Angel Tree to help meet the needs of those families in the Hastings area. The Salvation Army’s red bucket drive has become a holiday tradition. Local businesses team with The Salvation Army Bell ringers to solicit donations. Donations made during the holiday season help support the local Salvation Army throughout the year.
